X-Treme Video, Europe’s No 1 extreme sports video distribution company, is looking for a work placement intern to help with marketing its products on the Web. This opportunity would suit someone with a keen interest in the extreme sports milieu and lifestyle and offers the possibility to gain first hand experience in the workings of a dynamic and successful pan-European video distributor from our buzzing and dynamic headquarters next to the Ocean in Biarritz, Southwest France.
Duration: 6 months starting early 2007
Mission: To help in the execution of X-Treme Video’s On-line Marketing strategy, including: Product admin on www.x-tremevideo.com , Email campaigns, prize competitions, Internet Research, on-line PR, Blog and Forum moderation Ebay account management, etc. Can also gain some experience in Video Editing, Podcasts, Mobile Phone marketing, Development of VOD platform.
Candidate Profile:
Student in Business, Marketing, Languages or Computing/IT.
Good with computers & the Web
Basic spoken French a must.
Most important: Hard working & good sense of humour!
This is an UNPAID work placement but one which could be an invaluable experience for the right person. However, we are prepared to help out a little with finding accommodation if required.
