    Element and Kustom Footwear Brand - Marketing Manager
    Leading Boardsports Company (situated in Jeffreysbay) seeks to employ a young and dynamic individual to manage the full marketing function of the Element Brand and the Kustom Footwear Brand; two divisions of GSM Trading SA (PTY) Ltd. This would suit a person interested in youth lifestyle fashion and actively involved in skateboarding.

    Education Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or business administration

    Necessary Skills
    Strong communication, sales and presentation skills essential

    The successful candidate must be goal-oriented, creative under pressure and able to multi-task.

    Expert knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms is an essential requirement.

    Strong budgeting, New Media and computer skills required.

    Focus Areas
    Strategic planning will be a core focus, in order to meet the Relevant Brand’s sales objectives.

    Evaluate product demand, identify a target audience and determine the best way to reach that audience.

    Develop advertising campaigns and choose media outlets, to promote and build the Relevant Brand in accordance with defined Brand equities and ethos.

    Key Duties
    • To strategize, plan and implement new projects to maximize and market the brand within the said target market.
    • To incorporate new and different opportunities both in media and through association with other companies/brands/magazines.
    • Drive New Media strategy and enhance and maintain Element SA web presence through key initiatives.
    • Conducting consumer research and hold the responsibility of capital and operational expenditure relating to the Marketing of the Brand for retail, wholesale and independent customers.
    • Provide focused briefs and assessment of projects to all Key Managers
    • Planning of Events and assist with the co-ordination for external and internal audiences of the brand and the company.
    • Manage ROI for Ramp Trailer and ensure year around utilization
    • Implement Business strategy with focus on growing the brand in the retail sector, and implementation of full Retail marketing campaign
    • Implementation of POP/POS strategy and facilitate organized structure for communicating this to relevant parties.
    • Develop instore fixtures to increase controllable floor space in wholesale accounts
    • To assist the Brand Manager and Sales Manager to drive new sales through it's team of existing agents.
    • Present Seasonal marketing strategies to all parties, with focus on ROI.
    • Manage A&P budget across all genre and business units.
