JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Stock Analyst
To provide administrative support and manage stock movement with the Head of Buying
Responsibilities
* Record and monitor sales by price status on a weekly basis and suggest appropriate action
* Further relationships with current suppliers to call in or cancel stock.
* Carry out stock replenishment on a daily basis to ensure that product performers are in stock.
* Continuously review and improve all stock control systems, processes and reporting to improve business efficiency.
* Assist Head of Buying in developing seasonal forecasting strategies, inputting order across the seasons.
* Review and monitor range plans regularly with Head of Buying to reflect changing sales/trends.
* Maintain categories on the website to ensure all categories are performing.
* Assist with daily/weekly reports and provide input to marketing and promotional strategies.
* Regularly carry out competitor analysis and determine sales patterns for various categories and products
* Manage the upload of all product data, product content and categorisation of all products onto the internal system.
* Manage quality issues and stock returns for branded product.
* Liaise with customer service on all customer requirements for stock enquiries.
* Assist with delivery inconsistencies, liaise with department heads and provide ad-hoc support when needed.
Education, Skills and Experience
* Organisation skills, able to use initiative and work in a fast paced environment.
* Numerical competency – Degree level qualified.
* Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately at all levels, both internally and externally.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 May, 2009 : - - Au sein du département marketing, le (la) stagiaire assistera l’«Event Manager» dans la mise en œuvre et le suivi des évènements Volcom.
Description de poste :
Ses missions principales seront les suivantes:
- Soutien à l’organisation des évènements ;
- Participation à la gestion de la partie logistique des manifestations ;
- Coordination avec les différents distributeurs Volcom ;
- Relation avec les prestataires externes ;
- Suivi administratif lié aux différents évènements.
Profil Recherché :
Etudiant(e) d’école de commerce ou d’université, niveau 3ème à 5ème année d’études. Autonome, organisé(e) et rigoureux(se), vous faites preuve d’une grande curiosité, de polyvalence et êtes force de proposition.
Vous êtes sensible à l’univers Volcom et êtes passionné de surf, skate, snow. La pratique intensive de ces sports est fortement souhaitée & nécessaire.
Compétences :
· Bonne maîtrise de l’informatique (Pack Office);
· Très bon niveau d’anglais requis;
· La maîtrise d’une deuxième langue est appréciée (Espagnol ou Allemand).
· Tout type d’expérience dans l’événementiel est un plus.
Pour réussir sur ce type de poste, votre adaptabilité, votre réactivité et votre sens de la communication seront des atouts indéniables, tout comme votre motivation et votre sens des responsabilités.
Créatif (ve), autonome, vous êtes reconnu(e) pour votre bon relationnel, ainsi que votre réel esprit d’équipe et d’initiative.
