BoardRoom explores origins of modern surfboard shaping

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 6 July, 2009 : - - Director and underwater cinematographer Markus Davids, SOC is currently in production of his latest feature film 'BoardRoom' produced by CineBags Productions and FiveSix Productions.  Teaming up with fellow cinematographer Robert Jax and producer Robert Bell, 'Boardroom takes us back in time to the beginning of modern surfboard shaping. 

Transitioning from balsa to foam 'Boardroom' features interviews of some of the most legendary board shapers under the sun such as Dick Brewer, Bruce Jones, Robert August, Rich Harbour, Corky Carroll, Greg Noll, Bing Copeland, Michael Hynson and many more.

Shooting the feature film in HD “BoardRoom” is currently traveling through the country, from east to west coast, to Hawaii interviewing the most legendary surfboard shapers. “Boardroom” is scheduled for DVD  release in the spring of 2010.
