The day brought a warm and sunny day. The first heat started with a medium tide and 3 feet high waves. In the middle of the contest it was high enough for good shore breaks of 4 feet. The wind was a side shore wind but very light. We've had peaks as right and left-handers. The only bad point was that on high tide some of that nasty oil came in. The waves were powerful enough for some arial tricks and other spectacular maneuvers.
