Hawaii Free Surfing in a week of mixed waves......
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 November, 2010 : - - It's been a mixed week for waves and action on the North Shore ranging from fun size Backdoor, Joel Parkinson taking out the Reef Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa, super clean high performance surf at Off The Wall on Tuesday, wind blown Sunset Beach on Wednesday for the opening day of the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing to howling Trade Winds and a virtually flat ocean over the weekend.
This winter season has been a good one so far with a lot of west in the swells which means that Sunset and Pipe have been breaking. Off The Wall and Rock Point have had plenty of waves too. The crowds haven't been too bad with everyone spread out along the North Shore.
With plenty of storm activity in the North and West Pacific Ocean and a favorable Jetstream system in place I figure we're in for a few more solid sessions in the coming weeks.
