Kelly Slater wins AGAIN in France, for first time in 20 years
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 5 October, 2012 : - - Bonjour from the south of France, Kelly Slater has backed up his recent Trestles win today with a victory in the Quiksilver Pro France. Kelly won his first world tour event in Hossegor 1992 and 20 years later won his 51st event at the same location.
Last night the quarter finals of the Quiksilver Pro were run in fading light and the dredging barrels were providing perfect 10 point rides for Parkinson and Slater.
This morning the surf was absolutely pristine with light offshore winds and the swell in the 4'-6' range. The massive crowd were treated to all four semi finalists, John John Florence, Dane Reynolds, Joel Parkinson and Kelly Slater pulling into perfect pits.
I'm still working through all my shots but in the mean time check out the gallery
Merci beacoup Joli
