Damien Castera scores fun waves during two wild months in Alaska
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 5 December, 2013 - At first, Alaska doesn't sound much like a surf destination but this is just a matter of perception. O'Neill team rider and adventurer, Damien Castera of France, sees it all the way around. For him the Last Frontier means not only empty line-ups and perfect waves. Alaska is also about a getting back into the wild experience.
Damien spent two months there, surfing and hiking and being self-sufficient: fishing for food, rough encampments for accommodation and pepper sprays as self-defense against bears or any other wild life
