Kemper won the 2012 'Steep & Deep' photo event
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 17 January, 2014 - Honolulu - Currently residing on the Oahu’s North Shore, Billy Kemper is the latest member to join the surf team at T&C Surfboards.
Originally hailing from Paia, Maui, Kemper has proven himself at JAWS and other heavy water spots. He is one of the young Maui chargers that are pushing the limits at outer reefs around the Hawaii. Known for his wealth of waterman skills, Kemper excels in waves from 2 ft to extreme heights.
He won the ‘Steep & Deep” Pipeline Photo Challenge in 2012 photographed by Zak Noyle. He has entered the several XXL contest including the 2010 “Rider of the Year” and “Wipe Out of the Year” in 2013.
In 2010, he won the HIC Pro at Sunset and finished the season as number one on the ASP Hawaii region. He was a local qualifier for the 2013 Triple Crown of Surfing. Kemper is on the WQS and currently competes in ASP 6 star prime events.
