23 June, 2010 : - - We've had a few nice waves over the last week or so. The Burleigh, the Superbank, Snapper Rocks and D-Bah have been firing and Parko has been having fun using the odd punter as a speed hump or place to try a tight critical turn.
20 May, 2010 : - - North Shore, Oahu -- The surf world is in mourning. Hawaiian waterman Marvin Foster has died. Known for his style in big waves, he was a bona fide star in the 80's, blessed with talent but also tormented by personal troubles.
15 May, 2010 : - - It's Autumn here on the Gold Coast. The winds are light and skies are blue and clear. The surf is not very big so I've been spending time putting together some old images.
11 April, 2010 : - - The dust has settled on Torquay. The contest 'searched' all over for a suitable venue. It was completed over four different venues, with Round 1 at Bells Beach, Round 2 at Thirteenth Beach, Round 3 & the opening half of Round 4 at Winki Pop, and the final day was completed at Johanna Beach..
10 April, 2010 : - - The dust has settled on Torquay with the completion of the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach. The contest 'searched' all over the west coast of Victoria for a suitable venue with the contest eventually wrapping up at Johanna Beach about two hours drive from Bells.
8 April, 2010 : - - G'day, it's a lay day at the Rip Curl Pro today. After 10 hours of heats yesterday at Winki Pop it may be well deserved. 4 April, 2010 : - - Happy Easter, The women's Rip Curl Pro wrapped up Friday with Steph Gilmore ringing the Bells Bell trophy for the third time in four years! The men hit the water, Andy Irons, Parko, Mick Fannning and Kelly Slater nailed their heats. Occy and Curren went head to head today with Tom coming out on to
30 March, 2010 : - - Howdee from Bells Beach. Easter full moon here tonight and the wolves are howling. The surf hasn't kicked in yet but we're still at Day One. It'll be a busy 12 days with lots of parties and hopefully lots of good waves. There are plenty of things planned including another Occy vs Curren clash.
20 March, 2010 : - - G'day from West Oz, Kerrsey pulled a rabbit out of the hat, or should that be joey out of the pouch... considering the number of Kangaroos around this place. Three big punts on two back to back waves sealed the Drug Aware Pro win for Josh Kerr today.
17 March, 2010 : - - The Drug Aware Pro 2010 is being blessed with some decent surf and it's heading towards the pointy end with triple overhead waves predicted for Friday. Below are some images from this week, There will also be some free surfing from around the Margaret River area.
6 March, 2010 : - - Snapper Rocks, Queensland/Australia - The Roxy Pro was wrapped up at a hot and steamy Snapper Rocks this morning with 3 times world surfing champion, Stephanie Gilmore making it 3 times Roxy Pro Champion, defeating Melanie Bartels in the Final.
