VETERANS FIND THEIR FEET IN NEWCASTLE WOMEN’S PRO

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 09 April 2005: - - The Newcastle Women’s Pro was won today by Maroubra’s Lynette MacKenzie, who is serving a suspension from the world championship tour after an incident in Hawaii late last year.

MacKenzie, 27, wore a brace on an injured ankle but still managed to edge out former world champion and fellow tour veteran Pauline Menczer from Byron Bay as well Wollongong’s Yvonne Byron and Narrabeen’s Ellen Black. a full press release will follow soon
