Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 5 February, 2008 : - - It was an all star international cast of big wave charges that showed up for the giant swell. Big names like, Greg Long, Tazy, John John Florence, Garrett McNamara, Kealii Mamala, Jamie Mitchell, Chris Brown, Smith Brothers, Zach Wormhoudt, Tyler Fox, Shane Desmond, Randy Cone, Andrew Marr, Carlos Burle, Pato, Benji, Grant Washburn and others scored some big ones in freezing cold conditions.
Of note: on this day, John John Florence became the youngest surfer to ever paddle into Mavz. He is just 15! Way to charge John John!
