Event cancelled due to lack of waves

Organisers of the final event of the 2002 EPSA longboard circuit at St Gilles were obliged to cancel the event due to flat conditions. One heat was run on Saturday, and an expression session was run with kids from the local surfclub.

The contest village/site had a great atmosphere, much better than last year. The community are really backing this event, which may possibly be a World Longboard Tour event in 2003!!.

2nd Ryan Hakman, 1500 pts
3rd Romain Maurin, 1283 pts
4th Ben Skinner, 1260 pts
5th Lee Ryan, 1100 pts
6th Jonathan Larccher, 1083 pts
7th Blake Gordon, 1033 pts
7th Luis Bento, 1033 pts
9th Jose de la Fuente, 1020 pts
10th Michael Schmitz, 900 pts
