Heith Norrish wins Hogs Breath Café Longboard Legends Tour on Gold Coast

Contested on the Southern Gold Coast, Tweed Heads surfer Heith Norrish successfully defended the title he won there last year. Launching a blistering backhand hand attack in the one and a half metre surf Norrish ´s second wave was the highest scoring wave of the contest.

Woolgoolga´s Harley Ingelby fresh from his win in the Byron Bay Classic earlier in the week, had two incredible rides on his first two waves but couldn´t find the wave he needed to match Norrish.

Current series leader Jackson Close managed two solid scores but couldn´t find the exceptional ride he needed to gain the lead and had to settle for 3rd. Close still maintains a big lead in the series. West Australian Tim Fitzpatrick couldn´t find the waves he needed in the final and came 4th.
