Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 March, 2008 : - - This image, captured off the coast of Australia, shows a brave/stupid marine biologist who managed to touch a great white as it leapt out of the water. The fearsome predator had been attracted to the boat with chunks of bait as part of tests on a 'Shark Shield', an electronic device designed to keep sharks away from surfers.
The incredible photo has surfaced just days after an Israeli backpacker escaped with his life in an encounter with a crocodile.
