PC takes one-week intensive camp with world class waves & surfers

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 March, 2011 : - - It was a great honor to be invited by some Tahitian surfing legends for a trip to one of Polynesia’s most beautiful pearls, the Tuamotu islands. PC had a blast sharing sessions and good times with Hira Teriinatoofa, Michel Bourez, Alain Riou, Steven Pierson and Teiva Mare.

A one-week intensive camp with world class waves and surfers; surfing all day, eating raw fish, and playing games of chess. Although the wind made it a challenge to ride, this long hollow right gracefully delivered its best to the most committed surfers. With a 6'5 pintail as his only option, PC had no choice but to draw longer lines, extending his bottom turns as to caress this Polynesian Queen, while the others tickled her with their 6'0's.

Back to Teahupoo...a week later; in big unruly waves, Raimana Van Bastolaer launches PC into his first ever "step-off". Just one wave...PC gets barreled and comes out with dry hair and a big smile!
