Quiksilver Reopens Surf Camp in Hossegor April-October with Quiksilver, Roxy, DC Pros as Coaches

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 February, 2012 : - - Quiksilver reopens the doors to its new generation surf camp in Hossegor for the Boardriders Week: coaching weeks for SURFERS and now also for SKATERS. Joined by the elite riders from Quiksilver, Roxy and DC with coaches like Jeremy Flores, Aritz Aranburu, Marc Lacomare, Lee-Ann Curren, Bixente Lizarazu, Lisa Andersen, Tiago Pires, Daniel Cardone, Manuel Margreiter and Robby Naish, the Boardriders Week provides a unique experience for beginners or intermediates to improve their surfing or skateboarding. The guests will stay in the huge traditional 'Landaise' style Villa settled in the pine forests just minutes from the beach breaks and close to the Basque and Landes skateparks.

THE SURF COACHING
During the week, guests will have 5 hours per day of coaching to improve or perfect their surfing technique alongside team athletes (see calendar) supported by one of the coaching staff from the Hossegor Surf Club and supervisors (24h/24h for the minors). This season, the Boardriders week adds to its team a pioneer of the Euroforce, Fred Robin from Reunion Island, who will be the semi permanent pro at the surf camp. After surfing, stretching and yoga, video feedback will accompany the debriefing of the surf sessions.

With a choice of world class beach breaks you will have everything you need at your disposal. THE SKATEBOARD COACHING - THIS IS NEW FOR 2012 Each Boardriders Week the guests will discover the best skateparks of the region, from Vieux Boucau to Bilbao, passing Labenne, Biarritz, Tarnos and Irun on the Spanish Coast on the way. The guests will explore the spots that can't be reached in the mini bus with their own boards, coached by the skaters from the Quiksilver and DC teams.

THE HOUSE
You will be staying in a Landaise Villa of immense character, redesigned by the creative teams of Quiksilver. Guests and pros benefit from spacious bedrooms, a dining room, superb library, a games room (table football, Ping Pong pool table) a media area and also spacious grounds with beach volleyball, beach soccer, trampolines... as well as bikes and stand up paddle boarding on the Hossegor lake and visits to the surfboard shaping room, Quiksilver campus and live events and music.

BUDGET

PREMIUM WEEK
The budget for the premium Surf or Skate weeks is 800 Euros per person for a week (without transport but including transfers from Biarritz airport or train stations) including your stay in the villa, full board meals, use of materials, 5 hours surf or skate coaching per day and all other activities.

SURFARI WEEK
The Boardriders House also proposes the intensive surf or skate coaching without accommodation. Budget 475 € TTC/ per person for 30 hours of coaching over 6 days.
