Looking good for waves from Day One at Volcom Fiji Pro

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 29 May, 2012 : - - Looks like we'll be scoring surf from day one of the waiting period. There has been good waves over the past few weeks so check out my Namotu Fiji 2012 Gallery. The workers have put the finishing touches to the Volcom Fiji Pro judges tower and now it awaits the action.

The strong trade winds have finally backed off and Namotu Lefts and Cloudbreak provided clean fun waves in the 3'-4' range. The swell was from the south with barrels on the inside of the Cloudbreak reef.

Last week we had strong side shore trade winds and overcast skies with five foot of swell. Cloudbreak was the pick of the spots with some barrels on the inside section. The strong trade winds have finally backed off and Namotu Lefts and Cloudbreak provided clean fun waves in the 3'-4' range.

Cheers Joli
