Huck #32 – The Handmade Issue Celebrating all things hand made
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 June, 2012 : - - HUCK#032 has hit the shelves with none other than Thomas Campbell on the cover. It features an interview with the artist/filmmaker/surfer/photographer about everything but his art – he doesn’t like to talk about it. Inspired by Campbell’s handmade approach, there’s also features on; renowned street artist Swoon and the connection of art and activism, pro skater Jamie Thomas and the craft of Instagram and New England board shapers, Grain Surfboards and PowderJet Snowboards.
Plus HUCK pays a visit to London’s Central Mosque to talk to some devout Muslim rappers, hangs out at a Stitch-In with the politically minded Craftivist Collective and chat to ecologically pioneering lawyer Polly Higgins and her mission to make ‘ecocide’ a crime. Thomas Campbell has also made HUCK two very beautiful flowers to give away to two lucky readers. If you buy this issue early you may just get a special Thomas Campbell x HUCK x Element Eden tote bag thrown in!
