Tim Bonython receives Beacon Award at the Maui Film Festival

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 6 July, 2012 : - - Held on the island of Maui, the prestigious Maui Festival's director Barry rivers made a special comment while interviewed by Variety media ' ..one of the best sports movies he has ever seen.' Tim Bonython received the Beacon Awards which recognised his work and dedication to his craft over the years.

The screening of IMMERSION gathered over 2500 people and won the Audience Award for 2012 in the extreme cinema category.
