ChileSafari was born in 2003 to offer the best surf camps and surf trips in Chile. The company consists of professionals within the industry with more than 15 years of experience surfing throughout the country.  Their programs are mixed to find the best surf, the most amazing nature and the real Chilean culture.

Concept
Chilesafari, is to be immersed in the identity of a long petal of sea and snow, from where you can observe a pacific west in a wavy horizon. Seaman and mountain lives this wealth where the inhospitable thing lasts, where the senses capture the beauty in colors and sounds of a totally alive nature.

EcoSurfCamp is a tourist/educational program focused on learning and practices essence of surfing, and development of environmental activities.

Surf Trips
Surf Trips are programs designed for the surfer of medium and advanced levels that would like to travel different parts of Chile or Easter Island in search of world class waves.

ECO SURF CAMP PUERTECILLO
Puertecillo, is a masterpiece of nature, vast coastal meadows and forests with cliffs falling into the Pacific Ocean deep waters.
Perfect long sandy bottoms, a world that will let you run the waves of your life; if you are a beginner, you will be able to improve your surfing or learn the basics.
 
Accommodation
Customers can choose from two types of accommodations for this surf camp.

• Full equipped Cabañas for 2 to 6 people.
• Full team camp (tents for 2 or 4 people, inflatable mattresses, fresh water, shade awnings, beach games, kitchen equipped)

Transportion
The trip is made from Santiago to Puertecillo in 4x4 vehicles; much of the final stretch of the road is sand. The vehicles have grilled or Rack to mount tables. It's very important for us to provide a comfortable trip for the customers to be ready and rested to surf at arrival.

Food
Three daily meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, + snacks (fruit and
water) are included.  Basically, they are fruits, vegetables, cereals, milk, meat and carbohydrates fish. We also provide special menus for vegetarians.

Instructors / Surf guides
Our guides and instructors have over 10 years experience with extreme local knowledge. They will train on all the techniques to learn how to surf, read the wave and / or to know the places to enter the line up.
They will always be with you in and out of the water, making sure your safety comes first.
Example of a possible Itinerary:

Day 1)
We will depart from Santiago, the trip to Puertecillo takes approximately 3 hours After settling in we will start with a Surfing Theory Class including Surf Safety.  This will include learning to recognize the waves, winds, tides, ripes and other important factors in learning how to surf.  After a surf session, we will end the day with a bonfire and a roast or a vegetarian dish for people with special dietary needs.
Day 2)
After breakfast, we will spend the whole day with guided surfing experience, surf lessons or just going out and surf.  We will have a delicious lunch and dinner by the fire.
Day 3)
After breakfast, trekking to a secret spot is optional.  If the conditions are good we will have another surfing session.  After lunch, we will provide a surf class or just going out and surf.  We will end the day with a bonfire and dinner.
Day 4)
After breakfast the entire day will be guided or free surf lessons.
In the event of bad surfing conditions there will be an optional trekking trip to the backside of Puertecillo.  Lunch and dinner by the fire will be provided as the previous days.
DAY 5)
After breakfast there will be a final surf session before heading back to Santiago.

ECO SURF CAMP TOTORALILLO

Totoralillo is one of the most famous surf spots in Chile. Have many different breaks especially rocky points with waves for different levels. Is it a small peninsula with turquoise waters and white sand.

•         Waves start from 1 to 4 meters. You have 3 different rights and 3 lefts
•         Equipment you need; 4/3 (winter)  or 3/2  wetsuit - booties if you use in the rocky breaks  - 2 to 3 boards (6,0 - 6,7 - 7,2)

March to November

Lodging
We have two options for this Surfcamp;

•         Full equipment cabins for 2 to 4 people on the beach
•         Full Equipment cabins for 2 to 6 people in Totoralillo small village

Transportion
From La Serena in a private Vehicle with Rack for your boards and comfortable seats to keep energies for the surf sessions.

Food
Tree Meals per day, breakfast, lunch, dinner + snacks (water and fruits)
All meals include the essential vegetables, fruits, cereal, milk, meet, fish, pasta, rice. Vegetarian menus are available.

Surf Guides
Surf Guides with more than 10 years of surfing experience with local knowledge of the Chilean coastline. They will search the best waves for you and show you in detail every surf spot. You just need to keep it in secret.

ECO SURF CAMP PUNTA CHOROS E ISLA DAMA
Punta Choros is a small fisherman village of the Coquimbo Region which survives on the sea and Tourism.  Iin this area you can find the first marine reserve of the country, 3 different Islands off shore compose "the Humboldt Penguin reserve". This reserve is a paradise of marine diversity, where you can see dolphins, penguins, whales, sea Lions, and more. The surf around here is amazing, beach breaks and rocky points just for you because you will never have crowds in this turquoise paradise

• Equipment you need; 4/3 wetsuit - 2 boards (6,0 - 6,7)
