5-day waiting period placed in heart of hurricane season

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 31 August, 2012 : - - The unsOund Surf Right Coast Cup presented by Quiksilver is going down at National Blvd in Long Beach on Long Island, New York on Wednesday, September 5th. The 5-day waiting period for this two day event is strategically placed in the heart of the Atlantic Hurricane season from Wednesday September 5th through Sunday September 9th to ensure the best possible conditions.

The “Right Coast Cup” will showcase 64 of the East Coast’s best young surfing talent, including NY local local Balaram Stack, surfing in a “skins” format  for a share of the $20,000 prize purse.
