Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 24 September, 2012 : - - At 19 years of age, Hawaii’s Keanu Asing is on the verge of cracking professional surfing’s big time! A wildcard winner into last year’s $1million New York Quiksilver Pro event, and a former ISA under-16 world junior champion, Keanu is within striking distance of qualifying for the elite world tour that has crowned champions like Kelly Slater and Andy Irons.
On October 1 he heads to Bali, Indonesia, to do battle for the ASP Oakley World Junior Title – the most prestigious title for a surfer under 20. Come and cheer him
on as he prepares for the next stage of his journey and tells us what it takes to make it big.
