Surfing Legend Dewey Weber in Book, Board and Panel Discussion

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 September, 2012 : - - The development of Dewey Weber as an iconic surfer, millionaire businessman, and tireless industry promoter, is the focus of the book and exhibition, Little Man On Wheels. Iconic surfboards such as the Dewey Weber Performer (the single most produced longboard model in the history of surfing), photographs by the most important surf photographers of the era, cutting edge advertising, and flashy Weber graphics fill-out the exhibition.
 
The Member's reception is this Saturday, September 29, from 6-9 p.m., with a special panel discussion scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will open to the public on Sunday, September 30 and be on view through December.
 
The Saturday Night Panel - We're very excited to announce Saturday evening's panel participants. The moderator for the panel will be author Jerry Derloshon. On the panel are Kemp Aaberg, Lonnie Argabright, Linda Benson, Don Craig, Skip Frye, Greg Noll, Steve Pezman, Mike Tabeling, Caroline Weber, and Shea Weber. The panel is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

The Book - Little Man On Wheels, a 215-page publication, is being released to the public for the first time on Saturday night. Do not miss your opportunity to purchase the book and get it signed by the author as well as some of the Surfing Legends that will be present at the Member's reception. There are still a few collector editions available but these will be gone quickly. The cloth edition is priced at $55 including tax; the Collectors Edition is $145 including tax.
