Battle Of The Paddle draws 404 Simple team
404 SIMPLE Mobile SUP Race Team Returns To The Battle Of The Paddle
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 September, 2012 : - - The 404 SIMPLE Mobile SUP Race Team is heading back to the Rainbow Sandals Gerry Lopez Battle of the Paddle, taking place September 29 and 30 in Dana Point, CA. Originally formed in 2011, the 404 SIMPLE Mobile Race Team helps to promote SIMPLE Mobile’s message of wireless freedom as the team competes in events across the country. The team is led by Danny Ching, who has won and placed in the top three at multiple Battle of the Paddle events in Hawaii and California.
“It’s great to have the support of SIMPLE Mobile as the team heads back to the Battle of the Paddle. They’re individuals in the mobile world and their message of wireless freedom makes total sense to us. It would be weird if you were forced to use a certain brand paddle when you buy a SUP and that’s how SIMPLE Mobile approaches wireless. SIMPLE Mobile lets you bring your own phone to their network and change it up whenever you want,” commented Greg Jensen, who along with Ching, co-founded 404 SUP. “It’s a major plus that a lot of the SIMPLE Mobile guys surf and are into SUP too. It’s always great when a sponsor takes an active role in what you’re all about.”
In addition to Ching, the 404 SIMPLE Mobile SUP Race Team is comprised of Joshua Brackett, Brian Haag, Dani Schmidt, Pat Dolan, Travis Bapiste, Micah Carlson, Hank Gaskell, Pat Huber, Nestor Mai, Uranui Chevalier, Manoa Drollet, Tim Hornsby, Tuni Sorman and Ryan Dolan. Fans of Danny Ching and the rest of the 404 SIMPLE Mobile SUP Race Team should stop by the SIMPLE Mobile tent at the Battle to find out more about both companies and grab a 404 SIMPLE Mobile SUP Race Team hat.
