404 SIMPLE Mobile SUP Race Team’s Danny Ching Finishes First At The Battle Of The Paddle
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 1 October, 2012 : - - The 404 Simple Mobile SUP Race Team would like to congratulate 404 SUP’s Danny Ching on his two first place finishes at the Rainbow Sandals Gerry Lopez Battle of the Paddle this past weekend. On Saturday, Danny came from behind to win in Elite Race and on Sunday, placed first in the 9.5 mile Distance Race, both times in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 30,000+ spectators lining Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA. Danny was also the recipient of the Most Combative award, which is given out to the competitor with the highest combined ranking at the end of the event.
“Danny’s training and perseverance definitely paid off this weekend and it was awesome that we had a huge cheering section on the beach, packed with fans wearing the hats they scooped up at the 404 SIMPLE Mobile tents,” commented Greg Jensen, who along with Danny Ching, co-founded 404 SUP. “Just like our boards, SIMPLE Mobile runs super fast and they’re always thinking of ways to make things better for their customers. When it comes to affordable, high speed wireless, Simple Mobile wins the battle every time.”
A full length television special on the Battle of the Paddle will be broadcast soon through Cox Communications.
