France's Pauline Ado makes 2013 elite tour
As a bonus, Pauline Ado ends up also European Champion this season
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 October, 2012 : - - Rip Curl is excited to congratulate 22-year-old Pauline Ado (FR) on qualifying for the 2013 Women’s World Championship Tour thanks to a great performance going into the final against Bianca Buitendag (ZAF) in the last ASP Women’s Qualifying Series event of the year, the SATA Airlines Azores Pro. Heading into the ASP 6 –Star event.
“It was a very complicated year, with a few hard times and bad luck in some of the events” explains the young French surfer from Hendaye. “I' ve learnt a lot on how to deal with doubts and pressure. I feel very releaved…”
As a bonus, Pauline Ado ends up also European Champion (ASP) this season and the first European surfer ever to re-qualify on the WT three years in a row! Both Rip Curl team riders, Pauline Ado and Alana Blanchard will join their team mate Tyler Wright on the WT next year, congratulations!!
