ISPO Brand New Award Goes To Inventor Of A Cave For Surfers – The Wavecave

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 October, 2012 : - - Surfers like to be close to nature. Not only while they are riding waves but also as part of their basic lifestyle. Sleeping in a tent, preferably with a view of the incoming surf, is the perfect environment, but often requiring a lot of gear and effort. Wavecave wants to make life easier. At first glance Wavecave looks like a padded bag for up to three surfboards. At a closer look it reveals a lot more: a few manipulations later, and a tent is zipped to the sides of the open bag, turning the padded area of the bag into a mattress in side the tent. This private cave on the beach lets surfers be as close to the water as possible – and there is even room for the boards.
