Aussie defeats America’s Kanoa Igarashi

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 October, 2012 : - - Earlier today, the Australian surfer Mikey Wright won the International Final of the Quiksilver King of the Groms. The Aussie defeated America’s Kanoa Igarashi in front of the men’s best surfers in the world and especially his brother Owen. Mikey found the way to control the heat in the building swell of la Gravière and wins the contest by 9,66 pts vs 7,13 pts for Igarashi. He puts his name in the prestigious winners list of the competition following Yan Daberkow and Gabriel Medina among others.
