The world’s best under-21 surfers showcased their range talent in the 3-to-4 foot surf. All of the competitors were keen to make their mark on this historical event; laying an early foundation to make a play to become the first Men’s ASP World Junior Champion crowned in Indonesia.
Peterson Crisanto (BRA) put on a dominating performance in his opening heat against last year’s runner-up Andrew Doheny (USA) and fellow Brazilian Geovane Ferreira (BRA).
