Carve Eyewear signs on as corporate sponsor for Surfing NSW

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 10 October, 2012 : - - Surfing NSW is pleased to announce that Carve eyewear has come on board as the official eyewear sponsor for the next three years. As a corporate sponsor, the Australian based eyewear company will be bolstering prizes across a large variety of competitions as well as sponsoring events and Surfing NSW members.

Surfing NSW Events Manager Luke Madden says: “We’re absolutely wrapped to be aligned with Carve for the next three years. They have been masters of the affordable eyewear market for a long time now and we’re honoured to be supported by such a solid Australian label.” Carve eyewear owner, Matt Whyte said: “Carve is proud to be a corporate partner with Surfing NSW. Our brand is built around the surf and snow lifestyle. All of us at Carve are very passionate about the ocean and our surfing. We see this as a great opportunity to put something back into a sport and industry we all love so much.”

Carve’s opening event will be the Dominelli Women’s Surf Classic, which is due to start at Cronulla on the 27th - 28th of October 2012. All winning competitors will score themselves a pair of sunglasses in their prize packs. Founded in 1998, Carve has embedded itself into a wide range of sporting and lifestyle markets, with a presence locally & in the international market place.

Carve has set it’s sights on building a team to complement it’s range of eyewear. Marquee team riders Clay Marzo, Sunny Garcia, Adam Robertson, Drew Courtney and Trent Munro fly the Carve flag on the world stage with a host of local chargers & young guns from a range of sports building the brand from the grass roots up.
