Greg Long pulls into a macker on Maui
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 October, 2012 : - The winter big wave season struck the North Pacific with a spectacular opening day. Greg Long from San Clemente, pulled in and flew out of a macker at Jaws, Maui on October 10. Videographer Bruno Lemos caught the action from the bluff and now it's an entry in the Ride of the Year category of the 2013 Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards. The XXL Awards, now in its thirteenth edition, recognizes the greatest achievements in big wave riding, wherever and whenever, as long as it is captured on video or in still photographs. The swell, generated by the remnants of Typhoon Maliksi, hit the Hawaiian chain on Wednesday.
