Volcom goes deeper into Europe with opening of Barcelona store

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 October, 2012 : - - After opening an outlet store in Madrid last July , Volcom has unveiled a new retail store in Barcelona on Carrer Canuda 35 in the historic city centre. Open from Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 9pm the store covers 140 square meters and offers all of Volcom's collections for men, women and children as well as a range of technical snowboard clothing for the winter season.

Alongside this wide choice of products, the store also features a selection of accessories and footwear by related brands such as Electric, which specialises in eyewear and also belongs to the PPR group.

Volcom is already well established in the winter sports market and with this new store, it gains a presence in the city considered by aficionados to be the international capital of skateboarding. Volcom's expansion is continuing in Europe with with the planned opening of two new stores in France in October 2012. With five store opening in 2012, the Volcom brand will have 12 stores in Europe by the end of this year.
