14-Yr-Old Surfing Prodigy: Kanoa Igarashi

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 22 October, 2012 : - - When it comes to surfing, there is no more exciting young surfer than Kanoa Igarashi. in 2012 alone, at just fourteen, he has taken 1st place at the U.S. Under 18 Championships, 2nd U.S. Open Pro Junior, and 2nd at the King Of The Groms Global Championships. With an extremely competitive edge that runs through every aspect of his life, Kanoa is sure to be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come.

We are pleased to share Kanoa’s story with our audience. He is an amazing kid and athlete and, as Quiksilver USA Surf Team Manager Chad Wells says, “He reads waves like he’s forty. He’s at the top of the heap.”
