Surfing the NYC streets
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 24 October, 2012 : - - Skateboarders passing you by on the street in New York is commonplace. But a pair of guys in wetsuits riding motorized surfboards down the streets of New York City was unique, even for the hard-to-impress residents New York. Technically the surfers aren't surfing, there are no waves, and the surfboards are equipped with retractable wheels and a remote control-operated motor. To the untrained eye it looks as if the pair are gliding atop invisible waves as they maneuver around the pedestrians.
