Young People’s Revolcadero Historico 2012 Surf Festival

Competition scheduled for this coming weekend

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 October, 2012 : - - The sixth Annual Children’s and Young People’s Revolcadero Historico Surfing Festival 2012, open to young surfers under 18 years of age of Mexican or any other nationality, takes place on Saturday and Sunday October 27 and 28 at Playa Revolcadero, Acapulco, Mexico, to one side of the Hotel  Hotel Fairmont Pierre Márquez, starting  at 7:00 a.m.

Who can participate: All youngsters under the age of 18 of either gender, any nationality can participate.

Entry fees are $100 pesos per person per category for the A and B categories (6-8 years and 9-11 years). These categories can have the assistance of an adult in the water with them. For the 12-17 year-old categories, the cost is $150 pesos per person per category; Girl’s open category is also $150. Awards:  The first four places in each category will be awarded trophies, diplomas, and sponsor merchandise, with surf boards going to first place.
