Seabass, Fuller, Barca and Geiselman are Joined by Some of the Local Talent

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 9 November, 2012 : - Starring a wide range of Oakley riders, the newest episode of the Oakley Dispatch Surf Webisode series takes the crew to the island of Java in Indonesia. Sebastian “Seabass” Zietz, Danny Fuller, Dustin Barca and Eric Geiselman are joined by Bali transplant Lee Wilson and Rizal Tanjung and some other local talent as the crew ventures to Java, which, as Seabass puts it, “I would imagine it looks like Bali 30 years ago.”

Picturesque white-‐‑sand beaches meet a lush shoreline, and a range of epic waves are on offer all along the coast. But the waves aren’t exactly user friendly: roll in slabs over a super shallow reef, ripe for tearing up boards and foreheads. The boys don’t hold anything back, stroking into left and righthand barrels for some truly memorable moments on this trip south of the equator.

The “Oakley Dispatch Series” is a lifestyle and surfing documentary based around the world-‐‑class talent that makes up the Oakley pro surf team. This online series follows a broad cast of characters from different regions of the earth chasing swells and documenting the realities of being a pro surfer. From the plush beaches of Hawaii to the icy waters in South Africa, these webisodes stretch across several continents and portray a variety of cultures and personalities. The series showcases the hardships of life on the road, along with the joys of living out one’s dreams.
