Relentless Surfer Jayce Robinson wins first place

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 14 November, 2012 : - - The Relentless Energy Drink Super Series continued this weekend, for the first time hitting Llantwit in Wales with Relentless surfer Jayce Robinson being victorious and claiming first place. Robinson bested the 27 other pros to top the leader board. They each took home a piece of the £5,000 prize purse.

Surf was around 3ft breaking over a boulder reef which formed consistent left and rights. Stand out local surfer, Nathan Phillips returned to competition after suffering a recent stroke and proved he can still compete with the best eventually getting defeated in the semi finals

Tour Director Dave Reed said “Relentless surfer Jayce Robinson was the standout surfer and deserved winner of the inaugural event. His surfing fulfilled the criteria performing a variety of radical manoeuvres to dominate the heats he surfed.’’

Next event scheduled for Lynmouth, this may be relocated to Fistral due to an epic swell 6 -8ft with 14 - 15 sec period and offshore winds forecast being forecast
