Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 24 November, 2012 : - - A Soquel man died while surfing at Privates near Pleasure Point in Santa Cruz on Thanksgiving. Officials identified the surfer on Friday as 64-year-old Bruce McGuire. No details were immediately available about McGuire's cause of death. He was found by another surfer at 1:30 p.m. slumped over his surfboard while in the ocean, officials said.
