Memorial surf event runs in conjunction with Red Bull Night Riders tow-at event

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 28 November, 2012 : - CONTEST: The tide was high at Flagler Beach as six of the top southeast surfers fought the strong surf in one of the most unique tow-at competitions on the coast. Spectators roughed the rain and winds to cheer on the Red Bull Night Riders as they pushed their limits to pull off their best trick.

With tough weather conditions each rider went full force soaring into the night sky. In the end, Red Bull Night Riders rookie Evan Thompson brought home the win to his family, a legacy from his older brother Cody Thompson who won the event last year.

In addition, the Tommy Tant Memorial Surf Classic went off with hundreds of participants joining the celebration of East Coast legend Tommy Tant's life. Jesse Heilman took out the men's pro title while Rossi Klein won the women's.
