Mo Freitas wins in Brazil on the new Focus Rawson shape
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 January, 2013 : - - A recent design collaboration with iconic North Shore Hawaii surfboard designer/shaper Pat Rawson working with Focus SUP designer Nitzan Benhaim and with Focus team-rider, teenage phenom Mo Freitas has already produced results.
The young Freitas has just returned from a successful tour of Brazil where he won a Stand Up World Tour event the Ubatuba Pro on the first board he worked on with Rawson, dominating the competition with his high performance attack.
Focus SUP will be developing with Pat, new designs aimed at the performance SUP enthusiast that will be introduced in 2013 with the first of those to be the “Rawson One”. As Pat commented in his excitement of working with the young Freitas “ I'm designing surfboards for stand up paddle performance”.
