Surfing Australia TV has moved to a new national prime time television slot
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 February, 2013 : - - Surfing Australia has teamed with free-to-air digital channel Television 4ME to broadcast Surfing Australia TV every Thursday at 7pm immediately after nightly news and current affairs programs. Managed by Brand New Media, Television 4ME broadcasts nationally to a potential audience of 22 million viewers in more than 8.3 million homes.
Television 4ME is available on Channel 74 in Queensland and capital cities and Channel 64 in regional areas. Viewers should rescan their digital receivers for reception. Surfing Australia TV is a monthly, half-hour program showcasing the organisation’s many different programs from junior development, through to elite athlete coaching, event management and industry education.
Episode 1 of Season 2 premieres tonight and features a wrap of the Australian Junior Surfing Titles in Tasmania, the Owen and Tyler Wright Surfing Australia Pro Surfer Camp, the Wahu Surfer Groms Comp in Western Australia, the first of a three-part series on Australians during the recent season on the North Shore in Hawaii and a profile on leading female Australian surfer Bec Woods.
