Fighting Fear wins at Australian Academy Cinema Television Awards
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 February, 2013 : - - Award winning director Bra Boy director Macario De Souza has now taken out Australia's biggest film industry awards winning Best Direction in a Documentary and for Best Cinematography in a Documentary for the surf movie feature on the lives & friendships of big wave surfers Mark Mathews & cage fighter/surfer Richie Vacuilk in the feature long documentary Fighting Fear..
Longtime surfing film maker Tim Bonython, Chris Bryan & Lee Kelly combined with Macario's directing talent to make the ultimate surf doco to end up taking the cinematography honours against Storm Surfers 3D which won the AACTA Award of Best Feature Length Documentary (Ellenor Cox, Marcus Gillezeau)
