Marlon Lipke signs sponsorship with Spanish label Vazva

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 February, 2013 : - - Reigning ASP European Champion, 2004 European Pro Junior Champion and former ASP World Championship Tour surfer Marlon Lipke has signed a new sponsorship deal with Spanish clothing label VAZVA. Marlon will represent the young Spanish brand on his quest for valuable points on the ASP World Qualifying Series and through editorial trips, which will see him chase waves around the not so well known areas of Europe.

Marlon Lipke was born in Portugal in 1984 and grew up on the Algarve. The first major result came in 1998, when he won the U14 European Title. Since then Marlon’s success hasn’t stopped: He won the European Pro Junior Title in 2004 and was 3rd at the World Junior Champs in Australia the same year, the most prestigious junior event in the world.

At the end of 2008, Marlon qualified for the prestigious ASP World Tour, the top 45 surfers in the world. He is the first and only German to date to do so. Marlon, your reigning ASP European Champion is your perfect brand ambassador: well spoken, good looking and a great athlete.
