Quiksilver/Roxy Pro all set and waiting to kick-off

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 2 March, 2013 : - - Next call is Sunday at 6:30am (local time) for the opening stop on the 2013 ASP World Championship Tours, the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast. Men’s competition will commence with defending Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast champion Taj Burrow against Bede Durbidge and Raoni Monteiro in Heat 1 of Round 1.

First up in women’s competition will be Courtney Conlogue (USA), 20, Laura Enever (AUS), 21, and Pauline Ado (FRA), 22, in the opening heat of the event.

The Quiksilver and Roxy Pro Gold Coast presented by Land Rover runs from March 2 – 13, 2013

The Moskova Trials were won by Brent Dorrington (AUS) and Dimity Stoyle (AUS) providing them the remaining wildcard positions into the respective men's and women's events. See the video highlights below.
