Bodysurfing book/film tour hits West Coast

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 6 March, 2013 : - - The Plight of the Torpedo People is a collection of bodysurfing photographs, frame grabs and personal essays documenting the making of Keith Malloy’s directorial debut, Come Hell or High Water—the first feature-length film to be made about the sport of bodysurfing.

Patagonia announces the start of the Plight of the Torpedo People book tour, as well as additional screenings of the award-winning film Come Hell or High Water. The Plight of the Torpedo People by Tom Adler showcases Surfer staff photographer Chris Burkard's amazing photography shot during the filming of Come Hell or High Water.

Director Keith Malloy, photographer Chris Burkard and bodysurfing legend Mark Cunningham will be present at each stop. There will be free popcorn and beer.
