Big Wave World Tour announces “Crowning of the Champion 2012/2013”
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 March, 2013 : - - The fourth season (2012/2013) of the Big Wave World Tour has officially concluded. This weekend we will be hosting our Crowning of the Champion ceremony at the Surfing Heritage Foundation Museum in San Clemente, California.
The night’s festivities will be hosted by Peligroso Tequila, Primo Beer, Longboard Vineyards & Vita Coco. The awards ceremony will honor our newest Champion and the success of another big wave season.
This year’s award ceremony is earlier than years past in order to clear the schedule for the first event on the BWWT schedule, The Quiksilver Ceremonial, Punta de Lobos, Chile. The holding period for the event runs from April 1st – May 31st 2013.
