The Surfers below are Doug "Roach'Brown from Laguna Beach California, Jim Banks, and Gerry Lopez . The photos where taken by Dan Devine and they first appeared in a Surfer Magazine Special Edition (the yearly photo annual) in the 1970's. One was an award winning photo & is listed as such. The Photo Editor was Art Brewer and the Editor was Jim Kimpton...... These are some of the biggest wave ever paddle surfed at The Pipeline... /Dan
