CJ Hobgood catches one of the biggest waves ever paddled into at Teahupoo

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 3 May, 2005 : - - Former ASP world champion and last year’s Billabong Pro Teahupoo runner up CJ Hobgood (Florida, USA) (pictured) caught one of the biggest waves ever paddled into at Teahupoo, Tahiti today. Hobgood arrived in Tahiti last night and paddled out in the 10-15ft surf for his first practice session before the Billabong Pro waiting commences on 5th May. The Billabong Pro, Teahupoo is the third WCT event on the 2005 scheduel and features the top 45 surfers in the world and 3 wildcards.
