Op PRO HAWAII FINAL DAY OF ACTION TOMORROW (Wednesday)
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Haleiwa, HAWAII - (Tuesday, November 22, 2005) - The final day of action of the men's Op Pro Hawaii, the first stop on the 2005 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, will get underway at 8am tomorrow morning at Haleiwa's Ali'i Beach Park.
Competition experienced a four day hiatus due to a break in winter swell action, but a new swell is forecast to start rolling in later today, filling in overnight. The passing of an additional local front may unfortunately bring with it showers and variable wind conditions, but swell height is predicted to be be up around 10 feet, with some higher sets.
Commencing with the remaining four heats of Round 3, competition will progress through eight heats of round four, the quarter finals, semi-finals, and the final at approximately 4 p.m.

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, Haleiwa, HAWAII - (Thursday, November 20, 2005) - Another lay day for the Op Pro Hawaii today (Sunday). We have near flat conditions today, however more swell is coming this week. The start of the contest a couple of days ago was epic, but today is nothing short of underwhelming. Near flat conditions offered little more than a day of rest this morning.
Contest organizers are looking towards a new swell churning out of the Gulf of Alaska, which should send swell our way late tomorrow or tuesday.
